Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using TrainingForFuture ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our") at trainingforfuture.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Service Description

TrainingForFuture is a career analysis platform designed for skilled trades workers. The Service provides:

  • ✓Personalized career path analysis based on your current trade and background
  • ✓Ranked career recommendations with salary data and growth projections
  • ✓Month-by-month training roadmaps for career transitions
  • ✓DOL-registered apprenticeship program recommendations by state
  • ✓Trade school and certification course listings
  • ✓AI-generated career insights powered by Anthropic Claude

3. Free Tier and Pro Subscription

Free Tier

Free accounts include 2 career analyses. Free reports show the top 2 ranked career paths with income ranges, AI exposure ratings, and market demand levels. Free users do not receive full training roadmaps, 5-year income outlooks, or apprenticeship matches.

Pro Subscription: $7.95/month

Pro subscribers receive unlimited career analyses, all 7 ranked career paths, full 5-year income outlooks, month-by-month training roadmaps, state-specific apprenticeship matches, trade school recommendations, and priority support.

Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. Your payment method is charged at the start of each billing period. You can cancel at any time; your Pro access continues through the end of the paid period.

Refunds

We offer a 7-day refund for new Pro subscribers who have not yet generated or downloaded a paid roadmap. Contact info@trainingforfuture.com to request a refund. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Price Changes

We will provide 30 days' notice before changing the Pro subscription price. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Career reports and roadmaps generated by TrainingForFuture are produced using AI (Anthropic Claude) combined with labor market data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, union wage surveys, and publicly available apprenticeship program data.

AI outputs are informational estimates, not guarantees. Salary figures, job growth rates, and program details are approximations based on available data and may not reflect exact conditions in your local market. Program availability, costs, and requirements change frequently. Always verify information directly with apprenticeship programs and licensing boards before making career decisions.

TrainingForFuture does not guarantee job placement, specific wages, or acceptance into any apprenticeship or training program.

5. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

  • ✓Provide accurate information during career intake; your results depend on it
  • ✓Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • ✓Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
  • ✓Use the Service only for personal, non-commercial career planning purposes

You agree NOT to:

  • ✗Scrape, copy, or reproduce career roadmaps, salary data, or recommendations for commercial use
  • ✗Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
  • ✗Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with platform systems
  • ✗Create multiple free accounts to circumvent the 2-analysis limit
  • ✗Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise platform security
  • ✗Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation

6. Intellectual Property

All content on TrainingForFuture, including career roadmaps, trade guides, salary data presentations, blog articles, data visualizations, and written copy, is owned by TrainingForFuture and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may use content for personal, non-commercial career planning only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, apprenticeship programs, trade schools, and external resources. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content or practices of any third-party site. Visiting linked sites is at your own risk.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting info@trainingforfuture.com. We will delete your personal data within 30 days.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the free tier, or engage in fraudulent activity. We will provide notice where reasonably possible. Pro subscribers terminated for Terms violations are not entitled to refunds.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that career data will be accurate, complete, or current. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TrainingForFuture and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost income, missed career opportunities, or reliance on AI-generated career recommendations. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's rules, or in the courts of Travis County, Texas if arbitration is not applicable. You waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits against TrainingForFuture.
