The standard

What readers should be able to tell at a glance

A reader should be able to distinguish a government-published fact from a TrainingForFuture estimate, see when important data was reviewed, understand who is responsible for the page, and reach the underlying source when the decision matters.

Primary sources first

For wages, employment projections, federal credentials and Registered Apprenticeship, we prefer the agency or program that owns the data: BLS, U.S. Department of Labor, EPA, FMCSA and state licensing authorities.

Official facts and estimates stay separate

A BLS median wage is an official benchmark. A personalized income range or AI-assisted roadmap is planning guidance. We label the difference instead of blending them together.

No invented expertise

TrainingForFuture does not present an editor as a licensed electrician, plumber, HVAC technician, welder or CDL instructor unless that individual has actually been identified and their credentials can be verified.

Useful beats sensational

We prefer practical entry requirements, timelines, trade-offs and source links over exaggerated salary promises or claims that a career is right for everyone.

Material updates are dated

When a guide changes because new BLS data, a federal rule or a meaningful factual correction becomes available, the article's last-reviewed date should change.

Corrections are visible

If we identify a material error, we correct the article and document the change when it could affect a reader's career, training or financial decision.

How AI is used

AI may help organize research, draft explanations or personalize a user's roadmap. It is not treated as the source for an official wage, licensing rule, federal credential requirement or Registered Apprenticeship claim. Those claims should be anchored to the responsible authority.
